It helps CFOs and investors understand how sustainability performance affects profitability, cost of capital, and valuation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct financial effects (revenues, costs, provisions).<\/li>\n<li>Indirect effects (reputation, risk, opportunity access).<\/li>\n<li>Scenario analysis to assess long-term value creation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This link between impact and finance enables better decision-making at both company and investor levels.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"taxonomy\">\n<h2>EU Taxonomy \u2014 Clarifications and Next Steps<\/h2>\n<p>The European Commission published clarifications for taxonomy-eligible and aligned activities. However, challenges remain in applying the binary logic to real-world transitions.
